MCM College hosted its fourth informal Fellows’ Gathering, on Tuesday, 21st February, 2017, receiving 25 non-resident College Fellows and Affiliates who were warmly greeted by an enthusiastic cohort of freshmen and upper-classmen.
The reception began at 6:30pm in Fellows’ Salon where students and faculty soon become engrossed in various vibrant conversations, ranging from college activities, to exciting multidisciplinary topics and discussions. This was followed by dinner in the College Hall shortly after 7:30pm.
Such gatherings facilitate students to enhance their understanding and explore related academic, intellectual, and cultural interests, and to get to know faculty members in an informal small-group setting. They also forge strong connections between fellows and college members, also promote collegial networking opportunities where students may invite or host fellows and affiliates as guest speakers, or faculty visits
