1. Students should follow the instructions of Resident Assistants (RAs) regarding general rules for security and hygiene, as well as the guidelines for the common rooms issued by College Office.
2. In case of emergency, please inform our RAs, RTs, Residential Fellows or Security Center of university (8822-4126) for immediate assistance.
3. According to UM fire regulation, DO NOT leave any personal belongings, such as umbrellas, bicycles, scooters and carton boxes, etc, along the corridor. Maintain all corridors clean, smooth and hygienic and DO NOT block the passage.
4. According to the University’s policy, smoking, substance abuse and alcoholic drinks are strictly forbidden in any part of the College.
5. Keep your room and common rooms clean. Cooking in the College is prohibited except in the designated areas as authorized by the Office. Students are encouraged to use the pantry.
6. Refrigerators will be cleaned monthly. Please refer to the schedule on the refrigerators for more details.
7. Kitchenware and condiments with label are allowed to be placed inside pantry cabinets. Simple electrical appliances will be provided by the College Office. All College electrical appliances should be cleaned and replaced immediately after use.
8. Graffiti on walls or furniture, sticky hooks or stickers are prohibited in your room and common areas. Students are responsible for any damages or losses and have to bear the cost accordingly.”
9. Please be reminded to safe-guard your room card at all times. For your roommates and your own safety, we strongly advise you not to leave any precious items inside your room or lend your room card to others.
10. Pets are NOT allowed in the College.

滿珍紀念書院各樓層房間及公共空間使用指引

1. 書院辦公室已向各樓層助理發放有關保安、衛生及公共空間之使用指引，如有任何疑問，請向樓層助理或書院辨公室尋求建議。

2. 遇到緊急情況，可立即通知樓層助理、研究生助理、院內導師或校內保安中心 (8822-4126) 求助。

3. 根據火警條例，請同學保持走廊通道暢順及環境衛生，切勿把個人物品放置在走廊或公共空間，如雨傘、單車、滑板車和紙皮箱等，放置在公共空間的物品在勸喻後可被沒收。

4. 根據大學的規定，嚴禁在書院內任何地方吸煙、濫用藥物和飲用酒精飲料，違例者可被處分。

5. 同學有義務保持房間及公共空間的環境清潔，除了辦公室准許的指定區域外，禁止在書院內煮食，請同學善用茶水間。

6. 書院將每月定期安排清潔人員對冰箱進行例行清潔，具體清潔日期請留意冰箱上的告示。

7. 為了讓同學更方便地使用茶水間，可把已作標記的廚具及調味料擺放在廚櫃裡。書院提供的電器及廚具，同學在使用後必須立即清潔乾淨並放回原處。

8. 請勿於房間或公共空間的牆壁或傢俱上塗鴉、貼上貼紙或黏性掛鈎，一經發現書院將向有關同學收取損壞物品的費用。

9. 為確保自身和室友的安全，請妥善保管個人房卡，切勿將貴重物品放置於房間內或將房卡轉借他人。

10. 書院內禁止飼養寵物。
