Nurturing Patriotic Spirit

The most fundamental responsibility of a citizen is patriotism. For local Chinese students in Macao, it means love for the country and Macao. For non-local Chinese students, apart from love for the country, they may have affection for Macao as their second hometown. As for international students, they may regard China and Macao as their second hometown, in addition to respect and love for their own country and hometown. Affection for one’s home country should be built on one’s identification with and understanding of the country.

Every year, the “Two Law” Ambassadors and “Student Workgroup for the Enhancement of Affection for Home Country” of MCM College carry out “Constitutional Law” and “Basic Law” promotion, as well as patriotic education activities under the supervision of Resident Fellow, Ms. Alice Hong.
